1. Follow the easy instructions to create a crossword puzzle and print it out. Brainstorm a list of ideas with your small group of lessons in which crossword puzzles would be appropriate to help students increase their vocabulary skills.
   
2. Plan a lesson in which students have the opportunity to create their own crossword puzzles and share them with each other. Evaluate the results in terms of student engagement with the task and student vocabulary development.
