Quick Write
Technology provides many tools to help ìprime the pumpî of
students' written expression. Among the tools considered in this session
are tools for brainstorming and outlining using ìright brain,î non-linear
software (Inspiration), vocabulary development and practice (crossword puzzle
generators), and presentations (Powerpoint).
Directions:
What tools do you use to stimulate your own fluency of ideas when faced with a writing project? In what ways do you think technology tools offer students who have been turned off by school another avenue to develop and express their learning?
