Objectives

Teachers will understand how word origin influences word structure.

Teachers will be able to:
§ Analyze words for word origin
§ Identify words as Anglo-Saxon, Latin, or Greek in origin.
§ Understand what is meant by etymology, word structure, phonology, and morphology.
