Objectives

Teachers will understand how historical events influenced the development of written English.

Teachers will be able to:
§ Survey websites on the evolution of written language
§ Write their names in alphabets preceding the Latin alphabet used today.
§ Discuss new words formed in the American culture, and from science and technology
