Summary/Assignment
  1. Shadow one of your focus students for a school day. Sit in classes, eat meals with the student, check out the restrooms, observe the peer relationships as a student does. What is it like to be a student at your school?

  2. Take a hard look at your school. Refine the lists you make in the small groups, using amongst other things the lists provided by the author. Which items are present at your school, which are not, which would be most important to do better?
