Scenario:

Alberto is in the 9 th grade this year in a Learning Disabilities SDC class. His IEP goal states that he will write a 4 paragraph essay from a book he has read. Alberto can read at a 3rd grade level but has difficulty with organizing his thoughts and the physical aspect of writingS. His writing is laborious and illegible, and therefore he becomes frustrated with the writing task, producing very little written work.
