Teachers will review an assessment model designed to inform instruction
and apply the Social Development Model to current teaching situation
to improve student outcomes, using assessment to guide instruction.
Teachers will be able to:
Compare traditional forms of assessment to informal assessment
to guide instruction.
Analyze situations that create a need for informal assessment.
List and describe the five stages of the Social Development Model.
Apply the Social Development Model to current teaching situation
and analyze its implications for changes in assessment and instructional
practices.
