O'Connell High School's Middle College High School Program (March 2001 Update-Program Achievements)

Group 1: Read Sections I, II (pp. 1-4).

Group 2: Read Section III, Pathway Linkages (pp. 4-7).

Group 3: Read Action Plan 1-Integrated Project (pp, 7, 8, 16).


Note: When reading, each group should take notes. After reading in small groups, the entire class meets for a group discussion. A representative from each group shares five main concepts learned from their assigned reading. Topics that should be addressed in the large group discussion are as follows:

  1. Key Elements of O'Connell's Middle College High School Plan

  2. Key Elements of City College of San Francisco's Collaboration with O'Connell High School

  3. Strengths of the O'Connell Plan

  4. Key Challenges in the development/implementation of a successful articulation agreement between O'Connell High and City College of San Francisco
