Small Group Activity 1 - Jigsaw Reading
"Equipped for the Future-Standards
for Adult Performance"

Group 1: Read Content Framework for EFF Standards; read EFF Communication Skills (pp. 1-2).

Group 2: Read EFF Decision-Making Skills, EFF Interpersonal Skills, and EFF Lifelong Learning Skills (pp, 3-4).

Group 3: Read Citizen Role Map, Parent Role Map, and Worker Role Map (pp. 5-8).

Note: When the group is reading, each member should take notes on the important ideas presented in the readings. During the debriefing session, each group will have the opportunity to share with their classmates. A selected group representative will
share 5 main ideas learned about Adult Performance Skills.

During the group debriefing session, the following topics should be addressed:

  1. Summarization of the EFF Communication Skills
  2. Summarization of the EFF Decision Making Skills
  3. Summarization of the EFF Interpersonal Skills
  4. Summarization of the EFF Lifelong Learning Skills
  5. Summarization of Key Parent/Family Roles
  6. Summarization of Key Worker Roles
  7. Summarization of Key Citizen/Community Member Roles
