Small Group Activity 2 - Jigsaw Reading:
"City College of San Francisco's
Programs/Courses"
Group 1: Read "What You Can Accomplish"? and "More About
Traditional Studies"(pp. 1-4).
Group 2: Read Transitional Studies Course Descriptions (pp. 5-7).
Note: When the groups are reading, each member should take notes on important
concepts presented regarding City College of San Francisco's Transitional
Studies Department. During the group debriefing session, a group representative
will answer the following questions:
- How would City College's adult programs differ from the traditional
high school course of study?
- Choose a transitional program offered at City College and describe how it addresses the following SCANS Competencies:
- Resources
- Interpersonal
- Information
- Systems
- Technology
