Activity 3 - Homework Assignment

Before Session 5, you are to interview one of the instructors teaching in City College's Transitional Studies Department. During your interview, ask the following questions:

1. Adults who have not completed high school present a special challenge. How do your organize your class (lesson planning) to meet their unique educational needs?
   
   
2. What instructional methodologies do you use to engage your students so that they will remain in your program and remain excited about learning?
   
   
3. Describe one of your success stories (i.e. - student who received their GED and is now successfully employed in their chosen career).

Note: As the opening activity for Session 5, selected students will report to the class on the results of the interview with a City College Transitional Studies Instructor.
