Session Objectives
Teachers will be able to:

  1. Describe how the Individual Transitional Program and how the Individual Transition Plan connects with the student's Individual Educational Plan (I.E.P.).
  2. List the types of transition services which must be included in a special need's student's Individual Transition Plan.
  3. Discuss the types of vocational/transitional services offered to special needs students enrolled in the San Francisco Unified District.
  4. Describe the programs/services offered by the California Department of Rehabilitation.
  5. Explain the transitional services offered for special needs students by the following programs:
    -Transition Partnership Project (TPP)
    -Workability I
    -Community Access/Transition Programs
  6. Identify agencies and organizations that provide services to individuals with disabilities.
