Directions 1:  The Internet is an excellent source for locating and developing rubrics.  Using http://www.google.com/ or another search engine, find rubrics that are online.  Some suggestions of rubric sources are below.  You may consider using a “rubrics generator” that is online.  These programs are online and allow you to develop a rubric based on the information you select.  Find rubrics for (a) reading, (b) math, (c) science, (d) social studies, (e) vocational skills, and any other area of interest.  Share your rubrics with the group.

Directions 2:  Using the information presented, develop a rubric for making a rubric.  You will need to take into consideration what factors make a good rubric.  You may use one of the graphs below, make your own, or use a rubrics generator online.  After you have developed the “rubric for rubrics,” evaluate the rubrics you located in part one of this activity.  Use your “rubric of rubrics” to evaluate the examples you find.
