Directions:  Locate an assessment (norm- or criterion-referenced) typically used with students in alternative or correctional educational facilities.  Examine the assessment items for cultural bias.  Write out the questions that potentially might have a cultural bias.  Indicate how the assessment item might be biased and with what group.
