Activity 1:
Completing the Wraparound Plan


Use page 4-5 of CTPF (handout 4.6) conduct and document (actual or role-play) a planning meeting including strategies, outcomes desired, timeframes for review and progress rating at subsequent meetings.

Before you conduct or role-play the meeting:

  • Refer to pages 1-3 of CTPF developed in Activities 4.2 and 4.3
  • Refer to similarities and perspectives of team members you identified in Activity 4.4. Think about what needs team members may agree to work on together.
  • Refer to Handouts 5.1. A Brief Summary of the Wraparound Process, 5.2, At the Initial Team Meeting , 5.3 Examples of Meeting Rules and 5.4 Effective Crisis Safety Plans


During the meeting:

  • Be sure to gain consensus on each need, outcome and strategy before documenting and moving on to the next step.
  • Ensure the person(s) involved in each strategy are able to commit to the implementation, timeframes.

For the follow-up meeting:

  • Begin each follow-up meeting with page 5 of the CTPF from the previous meeting and rate the progress of each strategy form the previous meeting before moving forward with new needs and strategies.
