Objectives

Teachers will select curriculum which is culturally resonant, provides access to big ideas and crucial skills across a wide range of abilities, and helps students make connections between social/emotional and academic growth. Teachers will be able to:

  • Identify resources for culturally resonant curriculum.

  • Review culturally resonant activities to identify big ideas and range of skill levels addressed in the lesson.

  • Select appropriate resources and plan activities for their own classrooms.
