Objectives
Teachers will design opportunities for their students to apply academic learning in service learning experiences. Teachers will be able to:

Define and give examples of service learning which incorporate the six (6) criteria for effective service learning.

Review curriculum for service learning activity ideas.

Brainstorm resource list for community agency contacts appropriate for service learning projects.

Design service learning projects which provide students with clear connections with their academic objectives and opportunities for reflection.
