  1. Describe one of your buttons, that when pushed, tends to get you into a power struggle with kids? Describe the situation that occurs when you get your buttons pushed. What is the consequence of your action?

     

  2.  Develop a “Brief Behavior Plan” for one student using the following points.

    • Pinpoint and describe one student’s behavior and how often it occurred.
    • Identify the goal of the behavior and then answer the following questions:
      • How did I feel?
      • What did I do?
      • How did the student respond?
      • What can I do to improve my behavior?
    • Choose an intervention to stop the misbehavior:
      • Goal:
      • Strategies:
      • Specific technique :
