Objectives

Teachers will connect research on attachment, bonding, resiliency, and social development to real-life practice in alternative education settings. Teachers will be able to:

  • Define attachment, bonding, and resiliency.

  • Explain Carroll’s Model of School Learning and compare/contrast with Social Development Model.

  • Review the history of attachment, bonding and resiliency research.
