Objectives

    Teachers will be able to:

    1. Gain an understanding of the rationale and objectives of a high school tech prep program.
    2. Identify the components of an effective Tech Prep Associate Degree Program.
    3. Describe the role of applied academics in a Tech Prep Associate Degree Program.
    4. Gain an understanding of the importance of articulation agreements between the high school and local two-year junior colleges and four-year universities.
    5. Investigate existing tech prep programs at their local high schools and thereby gain a first-hand knowledge of a local Tech Prep Associate Degree Program.
